How to build marketing reports in Google Slides with Claude

By november 2, 2026No Comments3 min read

You can now build a full monthly marketing report inside Google Slides with a single prompt. Claude’s add-on for Google Workspace pulls live data from Google Ads, GA4, TikTok or Instagram through the Markifact connector, then writes the slides, insights and next steps for you.

Claude in Google Slides

Claude is now available as an extension for Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides. It opens in a sidebar next to your presentation and uses the same connectors and settings as your Claude account.

That matters for marketers. Monthly reporting usually means exporting data from each platform, building charts and writing commentary by hand. With Claude and Markifact, you describe the report you need and Claude builds it from your real account data.

Step by step: set up Claude and Markifact

  1. Install Claude in Google Slides. Open a presentation, go to Extensions, then Add-ons, then Get add-ons. Search for Claude and install the official add-on.
  2. Open Claude in the sidebar. After installing, launch Claude from the Extensions menu. Your existing Claude connectors are already available there.
  3. Connect Markifact in Claude. In Claude, go to Connectors and browse the directory. Markifact is an official connector: click Connect and sign in to your Markifact account.
  4. Connect your marketing platforms in Markifact. In your Markifact account, open Connections and connect every platform you want in the report, such as Google Ads and GA4. You will see the accounts your email address has permission to access.

Build a September Google Ads report with one prompt

Starting from a blank presentation, we gave Claude this brief:

Create a presentation for September for this account. Use the Markifact MCP to access the Google Ads data. Compare the performance of the campaigns, tell me what works and what doesn’t, and use the main Google Ads metrics: clicks, impressions, CTR, CPC and conversions.

Claude ran read-only operations through Markifact to fetch the data, then built the deck slide by slide: an executive summary, in-depth campaign details, a campaign comparison, and recommended next steps.

Add GA4 data to the same deck

A second prompt extended the report: access the GA4 data for the same account, compare performance by default channel grouping, and show the top 10 pages. Claude pulled September’s GA4 data, added a section divider and created four new slides, including the channel comparison and an updated next-steps slide.

Going further

  • Add comparisons. Ask for September versus August, or this year versus last year, across Google Ads and GA4.
  • Mix channels. One prompt can combine Google Ads, GA4, TikTok and Instagram in a single report.
  • Work in the Claude app too. The same Markifact connector works directly in Claude, not only in Google Slides.
  • Go beyond reporting. Markifact also offers write operations, so Claude can create campaigns, ads and ad sets or change budgets across your marketing platforms.
